PEAR, CUCUMBER & MINT SMOOTHIE

This super green, nutritious and hydrating drink is one of my go-to smoothies. The pear gives it a lovely consistency and subtle sweetness, the ginger, lime & mint (three of my favourite smoothie ingredients) gives it a great kick and you get the added bonus of some healthy fats (which assist with nutrient absorption) from the avocado.
Ingredients:
2 large pears, roughly chopped
1 cucumber, roughly chopped
1 lime, skin removed
A small thumb sized piece of ginger, chopped
1½ cups baby spinach leaves
½ cup fresh mint leaves
1/4 of an avocado
1 cup water
2 cups ice cubes
Instructions: Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
